Phoenix is seeking a Cinema Programme Assistant to support the Cinema Programme Manager in a broad range of activities that deliver the running and development of Phoenix’s cinema programme and events.
Phoenix is an independent cinema and charity that aims to enrich lives and celebrate diversity and ambition in film and art. Our curatorial policy aims to provide a 'window on the world' by offering diverse cultural perspectives. We aim to produce a programme that is locally and culturally relevant, working with a range of partner organisations.
Phoenix provides a year-round opportunity to experience this world of film with pre-pandemic figures of over 350 films and 2,500 screenings for audiences of 105,000, alongside a varied education and access programme for young people and adults.
This is an exciting time to join Phoenix as we continue to re-build audiences following national lockdown and restrictions and undertake a capital expansion project that will see our Cinema programme have the use of two additional cinema screens and a first floor events space.
