Smyle are a multi award winning creative agency dedicated to creating extraordinary live events and digital experiences, fusing creativity and technical innovation.
We are looking for a Mid-Weight 3D Designer with experience creating beautiful spaces, to join our super talented creative team. This role can be based in our Hertford office full time, or in our London office with 1 day per week in Hertford.
The Role
The Mid-Weight 3D Designer works as part of our creative studio and focuses on designs for 3D environmental, experiential and live events. You will work on pitches as well as live event projects, and your role will include your own designs, as well as supporting other designers in the team.
The Mid-Weight 3D Designer works with other designers to understand and interpret client briefs, developing creative ideas and concepts with supporting visual assets such as mood boards and sketches. You will also lead on developing space plans, detail drawings and venue models.
At Smyle, we have a huge amount of specialist resource in-house and you will be working with teams across the business including event production, technical production, client experience and scenic, as well as with our freelancers. We believe that variety of projects inspires creativity so you will have the opportunity to work with different clients across a broad range of projects
About You
The successful candidate will have experience working within creative teams, and a portfolio that demonstrates your creative potential. We are looking for someone who is able to work across multiple projects and can work collaboratively with different teams.
Good time management skills are essential, and you must be able to understand and adhere to key pitch and project milestones. You will need to be a confident user of both Cinema 4D and Vectorworks to be considered for the role.
