We are looking for Freelance Product Photographers, Artisans and Craftspeople comfortable with creating and working on a project basis to become part of a young and dynamic team in Falmouth!

Who we are:
Artisan Savant is a creative styling and staging company in Falmouth; Cornwall and London. We have built a track record for creative styling and staging for photography, interiors and retail displays. Having worked with clients in London and Internationally, we now seek to grow our team to satisfy an increase in completely bespoke projects as well as eye catching product photography concepts or props.

This is where you fit in:
We are looking for creative thinkers with an eye for detail who can work on tasks independently. You’ll be capable of working to briefs clearly understanding the aesthetic and creative aspirations for each projects whilst offering your creativity to ensure success. You will be reporting directly to our founder and creative director either in one of our spaces in Falmouth, Truro or Redruth as is required for the project or on site as required in Cornwall, London or abroad. Your role will be helping us to capture, create or edit content or build props as required with compensation on a project by project basis.

The job photography:
• Working to direction of our founder to capture staged products and or settings.
• Snapping an array of products from fashion to beauty products to furniture.
• Editing images using Photoshop and Light room
The job Artisan:
• Design and create content props to a high-quality from scratch or upcycling allocated items in line with project theme.
• Collaborate with artisan teams to build mock-ups and prototypes as required

To qualify for this position, you will have experience in evidenced experience in your respective field with a decisions on the best candidates based on personality, energy, commitment, discipline as well as your portfolio and references. You will have solid experience to design and editing tools such as the Adobe suite such as Photoshop, Light room or relevant crafts based courses.

Requirements:
• Great organizational skills
• A portfolio of work and references
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• A keen eye for visual details and accuracy
• Broad understanding of working on commissioned projects
• Ability to generate a reliable supply of original ideas and concepts
• Flexible approach and willingness to adapt your ideas to the needs of the brands and clients we represent.
• A general understanding of how colour, texture and placement can elevate a product or space and translate brand values
