Graphic Designer
(Maternity cover - 9/12 months with potential to be extended)

Are you creative, energetic, hungry for variety with 2+ years' experience in graphic and digital design? If so, this may be the role for you!
Working at our fast-paced Agency within our creative team, you will work cross-functionally with business stakeholders to set brand direction by leading design projects from concept to completion; delivering varied design tasks at all levels. You will bring ideas to the table to drive creative projects forwards, turn concepts into reality, liaising expertly on design and functionality with the creative team, partners and clients.
General responsibilities include (80% portion of roll slightly more time spent on print than web, though this may fluctuate monthly)
Adhering to and developing clients brand identity
You strive for excellence: executing design that attracts and excites
Working on all print material including but not limited to: Adverts; flyers; event stand printed designs; posters; invitations
Producing creative content for marketing purposes
You have some experience in coding and working in HTML/ CSS3 to create responsive landing pages, eshots, digital newsletters and email signatures
Manage / maintain websites from new products, amending product specifications to creating homepage banners
SEO account responsibilities include (20% portion of roll):
Quarterly keyword review
Analysis and interpretation of data to produce monthly reports on Keywords and Google Search Console and Analytics
Plan weekly social media posts, manage art working and scheduling (experience on Twitter and LinkedIn will be beneficial)
Plan and review weekly articles, manage artwork and scheduling to ensure articles are published
Software and CMS knowledge required:
Photoshop
InDesign
Dreamweaver
Illustrator
WordPress
Soft skills include:
You are both creative and imaginative in your approach to graphic design, and are able to work collaboratively or independently
Understanding of the pace of a reactive business and passion for design
Comfortable giving/receiving direction and feedback
Organised and able to work within processes or implement new processes where required
Should be able to problem solve and comfortable to get in touch with third party companies to resolve issues
Able to manage own workload and co-ordinate with team on shared projects to meet deadlines
Confident communicator, mainly phone and email with ability to communicate with people from different companies and job levels
Willingness to work to meet deadlines and expectations
£26 - £29k plus:
Basic Flexi working hours: 8-5 / 8:30-5:30 / 9-6
Easy commutable location, 5 minutes walk from Surbiton station
