Designer [di-zahy-ner] – noun: a person who devises or executes designs, esp. one who creates forms, mechanisms and presentations for new products. Skills likely to include parametric CAD modelling, concept sketching and, most importantly, excellent functional product design.

Not to be confused with transport design or undergraduate designer.
